Wm. Patrick Sr., passed away at San Antonio, Texas on Wednesday Nov. 21, 1923 of heart failure. On Oct. 19, 1923 Mr. Patrick and Dan Welsh started for Sam Barnetts Texas to spend the winter. They had got as far on their journey as San Antonio when Mr. Patrick suddenly died.

He was born in Millville twp. Clayton Co. on March 6, 1869 where he spent his entire life engaged in farming.

Thirty-three years ago he was married to Miss Lena Woodingson of Cassville, Wis., who died three years ago. One daughter, Mrs. Geo. Minger, also preceded him in death. He is survived by four children, Wm., Beatrice, Hazel and Lena, all of Millvile twp.; also one sister Mrs. Frank Minger of Guttenberg, one brother Albert Patrick, of West Union and one grandchild.

The body arrived here Monday noon and the funeral services were conducted by Rev. F.L. Brock in the Goshen church Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Goshen cemetery.
