Mark Donald Czarnecki, age 58, of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin and formerly of Guttenberg, Iowa, died Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. He was born on April 24, 1957 in Madison, Wisconsin, the son of Donald Czarnecki and Sue (Tarrell) Brom. Mark was raised in Balltown, Iowa and graduated from Leo High School in Holy Cross, Iowa.

Right after graduation, Mark enlisted into the United States Army and served as a Special Forces Communication Sergeant(18E) with the 5th Special Forces Group. After his honorable discharge, Mark traveled the world seeking new challenges and adventures.

The biggest adventure was the day he married Debra "Deb" Nelson in 1992. For the past 23 years, Mark worked in the fastener and powder metal industry, most recently as quality manager at Burgess Norton in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Mark enjoyed bow hunting, fishing, and long range marksmanship.In June of 2014, Mark competed in the F Class 4 Man Long Range Team Shoot,earning the rank of State Champions.

Mark is survived by his wife Deb; sons Chad Clinton, Neal (Nicole Schick) Clinton; grandson Carter; his mother Sue Brom; sister Karen Czarnecki and many other relatives and friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Don Czarnecki; son Michael Clinton; brother-in-law Scott Nelson; step-father Warren Brom and father-in-law Guy Meskimen.

Memorial services were held on Saturday December 12, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home in Guttenberg, Iowa. Interment was in the Guttenberg Cemetery.
