Garber- Funeral services for Mrs. Elsie Pearl Moser, 52, who died Tuesday, Feb. 6, following a stroke, were held the following Thursday at the Bethel Church, near Osterdock. The Rev. Mr. Hartsough officiated.
Mrs. Moser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Hansel, was born Aug. 11, 1892, on a farm near Osterdock, and on March 25, 1914, she was married to Clem Moser. They made their home at Osterdock until 10 years ago, when they moved to Garber, where Mr. Moser operated a garage.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Leo, Garber, and Pfc. Delbert, in the Philippines; three daughters, Mrs. Selma Zitterguen, Garber, Mrs. Delorres Lewin, Guttenberg, and Bernita, at home; one granddaughter, Diane Zittergruen; four sisters, Mrs. Ben Kulper, Colesburg, Ia., Mrs. Tom Guinn in Florida, Mrs. John Kulper, Garber, and Mrs. A. W. Moser, Osterdock; two brothers, Ed, Colesburg, and Fred, Elkader. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
