Farmersburg- James O. Probert, 69, retired service station operator and musician who played in dance bands, died Tuesday at his home. He had been ill a year.

Surviving are his wife, Marie; and his stepmother, Marie Probert of Wadena.

Services: Friday, 1:30 p.m., at St. John Lutheran Church. Burial: Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Schultz's in Monona, where a Masonic service will be held at 8 p.m.
