Dubuque Telegraph Herald, 4 March 1968.

Volga- Howard Henry Borden, 71, of Volga, died Sunday at Community Hospital in Elkader.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Volga Methodist Church. Burial will be at Hecla, S.D., Thursday.

Friends may call at Wood Funeral Home, Elkader.

Surviving are five brothers, Randall of Volga, Harry of Anaheim, Calif., Charles of Orange, Calif., Arthur of Frederick, S.D., and William of Sacramento, Calif.; and five sisters, Mrs. Harry (Zella) Dyer of Brighton, S.D., Mrs. Albert (Blanch) Dinger of Aberdeen, S.D., Mrs. Harry (Edna) Robinson of Anaheim, Calif., Mrs. Dave (Ida) Holsman of Volga, and Mrs. Arthur (Dorothy) Voshel of Volga.
