Farmersburg- Leigh M. Mathews, 81, of Farmersburg, died Monday night at Veterans Hospital in Iowa City, Ia.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Schultz Funeral Home in Monona, Ia., where friends may call. Burial will be in the Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Thelma; a daughter, Mrs. Jon (Jean) Smith of Marion, Ia.; one grandson, and a sister, Mrs. William (Gladys) Reardon of Farmersburg.
