In Monona, December 5th, 186[9]4, WILLIAM SIGLIN, aged 28 years, 8 months and 14 days.
Deceased was born in Luzerne county, Pa., March 21, 1866. The same year his parents brought him to Iowa. In 1891 he married Miss Agnes Brown at Arelia, Iowa: one son is the fruit of this union. Of late years he has resided in Cherokee and O"Brien counties and while in the latter county he was taken sick, Decem'r 4th 1893, with what was called dropsy. Failing to improve he turned to the parental home in Monona in October last. His condition was thorougly examined into by the best physicians in this section of the country, but it was impossible to spare his life; he was called; a complication of diseases performed their mission in spite of all efforts to the contrary. He was cut down in the prime of young manhood, when the world offered the best of inducements to rigid manhood and the brightest of prospects for happy results. He leaves to mourn his early demise a loving and faithful companion, his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
The funeral takes place to-morrow (Friday) at the M. E. church at 2 o'clock.
