Marquette- Roy Campbell, 70, retired railroad switchman of Marquette, died Saturday at his home.
Masonic services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Methodist Church, Marquette. Schultz's Funeral Home, Monona, is in charge. Burial will be in city cemetery. Friends may call at the church at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Donald Thein, Elkader.

Funeral services for Roy Campbell, 70, of Marquette were held Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 5, at 1:30 o'clock at the Marquette Methodist church with Rev. James Hearne officiating. Burial was in the Monona City cemetery with Masonic rites at the grave.
Mr. Campbell died suddenly at his home Saturday morning, Aug. 2, of a cerebral hemorrhage.
He was born Aug. 14, 1887, a son of James Rowland and Elizabeth, nee Dixon, Campbell at Bismark. When he was 20 years old, he started to work for the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific railroad. He retired in 1951 after fifty years of service, most of them spent as a yard switchman.
He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and Belzer Lodge No. 135 A.F. & A.M. at McGregor.
He was married twice. His fist wife, Jean Griffin, preceded him in death. He later married Helen Griffin, who survives.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Herb and Francis.
Survivors besides his wife include one daughter, Mrs. Don (Dorothy) Thein of Elkader; two brothers, James of Waukon and Archie of Monona; two nieces, and one nephew.
Pallbearers were: Floyd Luce, Everett Hagensick, Wayne Martin, Percy Cleveland, J.C. Van Pelt, Lewis Moody, Albert Oelberg and Art Henthorn.
