The following item we clip from the Dubuque Times of Sunday last:
Strawberry Point, Jan 20 - Yesterday occurred the death of Hiram Kaster. He was made a Master Mason at this place in 1864 and a regular attendant upon lodge meetings. He was also a G.A.R., and members of both orders accompanied the remains to the cemetery and paid him their last respects. Bro. Kaster was seventy-six years old and had lived in this town for many years.

Last Friday at Strawberry Point, occurred the funeral of Hiram Kaster, aged 75 years. He was an old soldier and a member of the Masonic fraternity. His funeral services were conducted under the auspices of the Masons and G.A.R.
