On Tuesday evening at his home in Farmersburg township, occurred the death of R.L. Knight, after a long illness. The funeral takes place to-morrow. A large number of people from this place will attend.

Ralph Knight, the well known veteran musician of Co. E, 27th Iowa, died at his residence in Farmersburg twp. Monday evening after a lingering illness of several months, at the age of 68 years.

The funeral was held this morning at the Farmersburg church under the auspices of the McGregor G.A.R. post.
