HERMAN KAISER.
At the family home near Osborne, on Jan. 15th, 1899, occurred the death of Herman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Kaiser. The young man was born Oct. 4th, 1873, and was aged 25 years, 3 months, and 11 days at his death. He was a faithful member of the Lutheran church and a member of the family that will be mourned and missed by his parents one brother and two [sic] sisters. The funeral was held Tuesday, a short service being held at the house by Rev. M. Buholtz, when the remains were brought to Elkader and services held in the Congregational church, Rev. F. L. Fisk officiating. The interment was in the East Side Cemetery.

Kaiser—At the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Christian Kaiser in Cox Creek township, January, 15th, 1899, at about 3 o’clock p. m. of syncope.
Mr. Herman Kaiser, was 25 years, 3 months and 11 days old. Funeral services were held at the home by Rev. Buchaltz, and at the Congregational church in Elkader by Rev. Fisk, interment in the east cemetery of Elkader. The ARGUS together with many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Kaiser extend sympathy to the bereaved parents and relatives.
