Michael Feeney died June 15, 1930, at the age of sixty years in Chicago, where he was living after an illness of kidney trouble of some duration.
Deceased was born in Highland township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Feeney. He had made his home in Chicago for the past thirty-five years. He is survived by three children, one son, William, and two daughters, Gletta and Mary; also one brother, Peter Feeney, of Volga City, and two sisters, Mrs. T.F. Kelleher of Elkader and Mrs. Ed. Looby of Chicago.
Funeral services were held in Chicago, June 18th, where interment was also made. Those from here who attended the funeral were: Peter Feeney, Mrs. T.F. Kelleher, Miss Kate Kelleher and Miss Dorothy Kelleher, together with Mr. and Mrs. Leo Killerlain of Fayette.
