McKinley, Mamie died 1889

Died on Saturday evening, January 26th, 1889, Mamie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex. McKinley, aged 20 years, 8 months and 20 days.

Mamie was a sufferer for about two years with a malady which baffled the skill of physicians here and in Chicago; her suffering at time was almost unbearable, yet always endured without a murmur at her hard lot. She died in the full assurance of a home in the mansions of the blessed, fully realizing that He who watches over us all was not unmindful of her, but waiting to receive her to His arms.

She was highly respected and her death is mourned by a very large circle of friends. The funeral took place from the Catholic church, of which she was a devoted member, on Tuesday and was very largely attended. Deceased was a niece of Supervisor McKinley, of this county.
