Funeral services for Perry T. Peterson, 70, were held at Witt Chapel Saturday, Aug. 14, at 1:30 p.m. Interment was in Norway Lutheran Cemetery at St. Olaf. The Rev. A. F. Volle officiated.

Peterson died at his home in Elkader on Wednesday, Aug. 11.

A son of Julius and Tillie Ulberg Peterson, he was born in Boardman Township on October 4, 1900. He was baptized at Norway Lutheran Church and attended Elkader High School.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Renne, Dickinson, N.D.; a sister, Mrs. John (Alice) Niles, Cedar Rapids, a grandson and three nephews.

He was preceded by three sisters and a brother.

Except for a short time that he was employed in Dubuque, Peterson spent his entire life in the Elkader area. He farmed during his active years.

Pallbearers for his funeral were: Ralph Possehl, Millard Olson, Curtis Olson, Earl Patrick, Fred Schuety and Azel Pratt.
