Mrs. Minnie Pratt was born July 15, 1863, Neusteinort, Germany, and died at Minneapolis, Minn., Sunday, Jan. 19, 1958, at the age of ninety-four years, five months and four days.

She came to this country in 1872, with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Christian Boettcher, settling near Elkader.

In 1901, she was married to Frank H. Pratt at Hampton, Iowa, where they resided several years and then moved to Minnesota, where she resided up to the time of her death. Her husband preceded her in death in the year 1910.

She was the oldest of eight children, four sisters and three brothers having preceded her in death. Mrs. Pratt was a sister of Mrs. Anna Glesne, who died in October of 1957.

She is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Milda Roggensack of Elkader, and Mrs. Elsie Langer of St. Paul, Minn., also two nephews, Ray and Melvin Glesne of Elkader.

Funeral services were held in Minneapolis Monday at 7:00 p.m. at Albinson-Peterson chapel, with the Rev. A. H. Hoyme officiating. Prof. Theodore Bergman was the organist.

Her body was brought to Elkader Tuesday morning and services were held Wednesday at Witt's chapel, with the Rev. Paul Kitterer officiating. Interment was in East Side cemetery.
