Clayton County Register, Thur., 29 Oct. 1953. As published.

Funeral services were held in the Zion Evangelical Lutheran church at Clayton Center Thursday, October 22 for Linda Lou Kalke, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kalke. She was born at the McGregor hospital Monday, October 19 and died Wednesday afternoon, October 21.

She is survived by her twin sister, Gloria Lin, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Kalke, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Kalke and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Davis of Central City, and two great-grandparents.

Burial was in the new cemetery at Clayton Center. The Rev. J. H. Zerhusen officiated at the services.

Relatives from a distance who attended were Mrs. Raymond Davis, Mr. and Mrs. James Garrett and Allen Davis of Central City, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Campbell of Springville, and Mrs. Lloyd Vaverka of Cedar Rapids.
