Oscar Theodore Glesne, a Wagner township farmer, died of a heart attack at his farm home near St. Olaf, October 22 while driving his tractor. Mr. Glesne was born December 15, 1893 in Wagner township and lived his entire life in Clayton county. In 1924 he moved to the farm three miles from St. Olaf which had been his home.
The son of Even and Bergeit Glesne, both of which preceded him in death, he married Josephine Lee of Hawley, Minn., Dec. 29, 1923. They had two sons, John of Harmony, Minn., and Lee of Montezuma. Surviving are his wife and two sons, five grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Theodore Thorson and Miss Elvera Glesne, both of St. Olaf.
Mr. Glesne was a member of the Norway Lutheran church and was buried from that church on Saturday, October 24 with the Rev. S. J. Strandjord officiating. Pallbearers were Alonzo Engelhardt, Perry Benson, Larando Embretson, Orvin Embretson, Lawrence Berns and Clarence Anderson.
Relatives from a far distance who attended the funeral were Mrs. O. S. Legrand, Morehead, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Thompson, Eau Claire, Wis.; Mrs. Nels Glesne and Mrs. Bremness both of Decorah.
