ST. OLAF: Mrs. Belle Embretson died Saturday evening, October 14, at her home west of town, at the age of 69 years. She had been in ill health for some time, due to various ailments, and on Monday, Oct. 09th, she suffered a stroke, from which she never rallied. She leaves to mourn her departure, one son, Orvin, at home, and one daughter, Mrs. Alonzo Engelhardt; two grandchildren, Duane and Phyllis Engelhardt, besides a host of other relatives and friends.

St. Olaf - Mrs. Ingeborg Embretson died at her home in Wagner township on Saturday evening, Oct. 14, at ten o'clock. She had been ailing for several years and on Monday, Oct. 9 was stricken with a stroke from which she never recovered. Everything possible was done for her by the nurse and the family doctor as well as by her son and daughter, but she was beyond all medical aid. She died peacefully having reached the age of 69 years, ten months and 21 days.
Mrs. Embretson was born December 28, 1869 in Highland township. Her parents were Mickel and Birgit (Erickson) Benson. On December 11, 1896, she was united in marriage with Henry O. Embretson. This union was blessed with two children, Orvin, at home and Adelia (Mrs. Alonzo Engelhardt). Her husband preceded her in death on November 11, 1924, also her parents, two brothers and one sister.
Mrs. Embretson was active in her church and a faithful member of the Norway Ladies Aid.
Besides the son and daughter she leaves to mourn her departure two grandchildren, Duane and Phyllis Engelhardt; also one brother, Ole M. Benson, besides a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at the home and 2:00 in the Norway Lutheran church, the Rev. S. J. Stranjord officiating. Burial was made in the Norway cemetery. The casketbearers were Henry Larson, Olvin Johnson, Ben Fuelling, Alvin Larson, Oliver Larson, Clarence Anderson, Theo. Thorson and Ole Embretson.
