Funeral Services For Two Residents Held This Week

FARMERSBURG: John Schroeder was born at Garnavillo, Nov. 29, 1866, and died Jan. 14, 1944, at the age of 77 years, one month and 16 days. He was married to Pauline Neverman, Feb. 13, 1891. Four children were born to this union, but three have preceded their father in death. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Ella Mathews, one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Hazel Voeltz, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at St. John’s Lutheran church Tuesday, Jan. 18.
