Harry Halvorsen*, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. Halvorsen, was born February 7th, 1916 and died July 8th, 1928. He was twelve years, five months and one day old.

Harry had been ailing for a few months with tonsil trouble and underwent an operation for tonsillitis after which mastoid trouble set in, necessitating a first and second operation. Surgical aid with its best effort could not save his life.

He was a very patient sufferer and complained but very little, if any, through it all. His parents were at his bed side day and night during the last days and gave him comfort. It was also a great comfort for him to have by him his only brother, Leslie, whom he called if he was not close by.

He died at the hospital at West Union where he had his last operation.

His parents state that he has been an exceptionally good and obedient boy; causing them no sorrow but that of his passing. His training and practice came into light on his death bed when and where he would pray aloud the Lord's Prayer and his evening prayer. He automatically folded his hands devotionally when his pastor or his parents prayed with him and for him.

The funeral service was held at the home, Wednesday at 1 p.m. and at the Norway church at 2 p.m. Interment at the Norway cemetery, Rev. T.W. Tysdal officiating.

He leaves to mourn their loss his parents and his brother Leslie.
