Diedrich, Friedrich, Conrad Reinhard, born on 17 December 1820 Schlessinghausen,(correct Schessinghausen) Province of Hannover, Germany, died on Thursday, January 12, 1911, 6 clock in the morning at the age of 90 years and 25 days.

65 years ago he joined as Charlotte Engelhart in the state of sacred bonds of marriage, the marriage was blessed with 10 children, 5 sons and 5 daughters.His wife and two sons died before him.

In 1882 he came with his family to America and first settled at National. Later he came in local area where he lived with his son Wilhelm and last he went to his son in law Bormann to Canistota, South-Dakota, to be maintained there.

With the strengthening of faith of the Holy Supper he died. It mourn his three sons and their families, Wilhelm locally nearby Postville, Gottlieb in Zell, South-Dakota, Heinrich in Germany, his 5 daughters and their families, Mrs. Heinrich Schlüter, Plainview, Nebraska., Mrs. Ernst Schlüter, Canistota, South-Dakota, Mrs. Wilhelm Miene, McGregor, Mrs. Heinrich Nühring, Zell, South-Dakota, Mrs. Wilhelm Bormann, Canistota, South-Dakota, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, friends and acquaintances.

The funeral took place at a local churchyard, after a celebration has taken place in the Lutheran Church in Canistota, South-Dakota, on Sunday, January 15, at St. Paul's Church in Postville. Pastor Kühne has officiated.
