On Monday morning at half past two good german mother and wife is fallen asleep in the hereafter. The deceased reached the great age of 85 and a half years and was never sick to 3 weeks previously. This is certainly a rarity.

Her maiden name was Engelhart and she has beholds on May 13, 1821 in Schessinghausen near Nienburg, Hannover, the light of the world.

Approximately 65 years ago she married in the homeland with Fritz Reinhardt to Husum, Hanover, and there were 10 children born, 5 girls and 5 boys.

The aged husband and all the children, 73 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren are the surviving dependents. There are few families in this local area has so many offspring, as the family Reinhardt.

In 1881 the family came to America and settled down in Farmersburg Township. In recent four years the old couple living with her son Wilhelm.

Yet last Sunday were a lot of children and children's children to the good old grandmother gathered together, she had to stay in bed because of old age and weakness. Just a few hours later she was dead.

The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon from the house of mourning, and (it) had appeared a large amount of mourner.
Pastor Puhl held in St. Paul's Church a poignant funeral sermon and the church choir sang beautiful songs of mourning. May the earth lie easily on the departed mother of the Reinhardt tribe.
