Sophia Mueller

Services for Sophia (Theodore) Mueller, 88, of Sioux Falls, S.D. were held Dec. 4, at Julson memorial Baptist Church.

Mrs. Theodore, a former area resident, died Nov. 30, 1989.

She was born Jan. 22, 1901 at Clayton, a daughter of William and Lena (Dehn) Theodore. She was married at Clayton Feb. 29, 1919 to Elmer H. Mueller, who died March 3, 1959. They moved from a farm north of Guttenberg to Sioux Falls in 1941, where they built and managed the Ebenezer Nursing Home. She retired in 1978.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Delores Brown, Mrs. Elmira Thein and Mrs. LaVon Hall, all of Sioux Falls; five grand-children; 20 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant son; two brothers, Alto and William Theodore, and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Stickfort and Lena Theodore.
