McGregor, Ia., Nov. 18 - While driving his buggy along the pavement on highway 18, two miles west of McGregor about 5 o'clock Sunday evening, Abraham Shaw, a farmer, 75 years of age, was struck and fatally injured by a passing motorist driving a sedan. He was brought to the McGregor hospital, where he died at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon without regaining consciousness.
He is survived by a brother, David Shaw, Sr., and a sister, Mrs. Andrew Barr; also two nieces, Mrs. Frank Bruckner of Prairie du Chien and Mrs. Emma Moody of McGregor, one half-brother, Harry, of California, and six nephews, Dewey Minney of McGregor, Dave Jr., Henry, Grant and Jake Shaw of McGregor and Edward Shaw of Prairie du Chien.
