SMITH, HAKERT, DUREY, CUTCHLOW

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Hope Lutheran Church for Verner Smith, 63, with Pastor Martin Osterloh officiating, with burial on his farm near Mederville.

~Notes: He was the husband of LaVera Hakert. They were married May 6, 1945 at Emanuel Lutheran church, Strawberry Point. Five children - Ilona (Mrs. Allyn Durey), Lavera (Mrs. Billy Cutchlow), Danny, Lanny and John. ~source: 30th anniversary newspaper article.
