Last rites were held for Edward O'Connor on Monday, Jan. 22, at St. Mary's Catholic church. Fr. David McGoey said the funeral mass. Burial was made in Littleport, Iowa.

Mr. O'Connor was born April 15, 1871, in Westport, Maryland, and died in the Hull hospital. He had been in failing health for several months.

When he was 12 years old he moved with his parents to Littleport, Iowa, where he resided until 1920. He lived in Amboy, Minn., for many years and moved to Rock Valley in 1943, at which time he came to live with his sister, Mrs. Mary McNamara. Since the death of his sister in 1947, he has made his home with his niece, Margaret McNamara. Two brothers also preceded him in death.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mrs. Anna O'Connor of Amboy, Minn.; five nephews, Walter and Francis McNamara of Rock Valley; Darius O'Connor, Minneapolis, Minn.; Francis O'Connor, Rochester, Minn. ; Capt. Oran O'Connor, Columbia, Ill.; six nieces: Margaret McNamara and Mrs. R. B. Thayer of Rock Valley; Eileen McNamara, Cheyenne, Wyoming; Mrs. Larry Weir, Winnebago, Minn.; Verna O'Connor, Elkader, Iowa; Mrs. Wm. Zittergruen, Garber, Iowa.
