McGregor- Elmer Kuester, 67, formerly of McGregor, died Friday night in Milwaukee.

La Crosse Tribune, La Crosse, Wis., Mon. 20 Feb. 1950.

McGregor- Word has been received here by Mrs. Sophia Knaak of the death of her cousin, Elmer Kuester, 67, formerly of McGregor. He died of a heart attack Friday in Milwaukee where he has lived for many years and was head of the Great Lakes Investment Co.

Born in Mederville in Clayton county, he was brought up in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gerich in McGregor, parents of Mrs. Knaak. He leaves a wife and son.

Funeral services were to be Monday in Milwaukee.
