Elkader- Charles M. Wilson, 92, died Tuesday. Services: 2 p.m. Thursday in Witt funeral home.

Charles M. Wilson, 92, one of Clayton county's oldest residents, died Tuesday at his home six miles north of Elkader.
An ardent fisherman, he held the oldest fishing license in the county.
Services were held this afternoon (Thursday) at the Witt funeral home with the Rev. Paul Kitterer, pastor of the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church officiating. Burial was at the East Side cemetery.
Wison was born August 04, 1857, in Dubuque county, came to the farm where he has lived since the age of five.
He and his wife celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last July 04th.
Survivors include his wife, three sons: Charles, Waukon Junction; William, Clermont; and Seymour, Garber, and four daughters: Mrs. Ida Erickson, Elgin; Mrs. Earl Peterman, Volga; Mrs. Lorna Duff, Prairie du Chien; and Mrs. R. E. Livingston, Elkader.
