Strawberry Point- Mrs. William Kuehl, 69, died May 1, 1950, in Strawberry Point. Born December 7, 1880, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Minnie Lau. On November 2, 1904, she was married to William Kuehl of Clayton county, and lived near Strawberry Point for 14 years.

Surviving her are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Viola) Russow of Dubuque, Iowa, one son, Leroy Kuehl of Littleport, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Bertha) Kuehl of Strawberry Point and Miss Carrie Lau of Elkader; one brother, George Lau, also of Elkader. Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Strawberry Point with interment in the Edgewood cemetery, Edgewood, Iowa.
