JUDY, DOTY, CHEESEMAN, MEYER, HODGES

About 5 o'clock Thursday evening March 31, 1906, Henry Judy died suddenly, after but a short illness.

He was born Aug. 3, 1858, at Galena, Ill., coming to Elkader about thirty years ago. He is survived by his aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Judy, three sisters, Mrs. Ab. Cheeseman, of Elkader, Mrs. Nicholas Meyer, of Blooming Prairie, Minn. and Mrs. Nellie Hodges, of Fremont, Neb., and two brothers, William and Michael, of this place.

The funeral services were held on Sunday last, being conducted by Rev. F. Leonhard. The interment was in the East Side cemetery beside the remains of his wife.
