Monona- Leroy Harlan Eiffert, 63, of The Colony, Texas, formerly of Monona, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 1996, in his home after a lingering illness. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Garden City United Methodist Church, Monona. Burial: Monona City Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Schultz Funeral Home, where a prayer service begins at 8 p.m.

Survivors include his wife, Adele; four daughters, Michelle Eiffert, Marcia Eiffert, and Malinda Eiffert, all of Lewisville, Texas, and Mary Eiffert of The Colony, Texas; a son, Michael, of The Colony, Texas; a sister, Dolores Kammerer of Monona; and a brother, Robert of Cheyenne, Wyo.

Also surviving are a daughter-in-law, Stephanie; a brother-in-law, Justus Kammerer; a sister-in-law, Marti; and a grandson, Taylor Eiffert of The Colony, Texas.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association or First United Methodist Church, 907 W. Main St., Lewisville, Texas, 75067.
