Guttenberg- Travis James Bolsinger, 14, died Thursday, Aug. 17, 2000, in an auto accident on I-94 in Gurnee, Ill. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, St. Mary's Catholic Church, by Monsignor John McClean. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg.

Survivors include his father Kenneth (stepmother, Jane) Bolsinger; stepfather, Fran Diesch of Guttenberg; his grandmothers, Florence Eilers of Guttenberg and Eleanor Bolsinger of Colesburg; two sisters, Cindy Gerner of Dyersville and Tonya (David) Witlow of Waco, Texas; a brother, Kenneth Bolsinger of Dallas; two stepbrothers, Chad and Brad Bolsinger, and a stepsister, Ashley Melchert, all of Colesburg; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Eulogius "Bud" Eilers; his mother, Susan Diesch; and his nephew, Austin Gerner.

Travis was born Dec. 21, 1985, in Guttenberg, Iowa, the son of Kenneth Bolsinger and Susan Eilers Bolsinger. An honor roll student at Guttenberg High School, he would have been a sophomore this year. He loved hunting, fishing and being with his friends.
