Elgin- Ruth Sylvia Loftsgard, 95, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 1995, in Good Samaritan Home, West Union, after a long illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Marion Lutheran Church, Gunder, by the Rev. Marshall Hahn. Burial: Marion Lutheran Cemetery, Gunder. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Leonard Funeral Home, Elgin.

Survivors include three daughters, Eileen Schneider and Norma Halverson, both of Elgin, and Sharon Van Sickle of Des Plaines, Ill.; and a sister, Emily Erickson of Elgin.
