Strawberry Point- Lance E. Millard, 15, died Thursday morning in St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, of a self-inflicted gunshot wound he suffered Wednesday night at his home. The county medical examiner has ruled the death a suicide. He was a sophomore at Starmont High School.

Survivors include his parents, John and Linda Millard of Strawberry Point; four brothers, Tod, Dustin, Brandon and Ira, all at home; four sisters, Jonna, Sarah, Kisa and Echo, all at home; and three grandparents, Blance Millard of Oelwein, and Vernon and Verna Kelley of Arlington.

Services: 2 p.m. today, Roberson's, where friends may call. Burial has not yet been set.
