KENNEDY, KING, BLIZZARD

McGregor, Ia, Feb. 3 - Mrs. Susan Kennedy, 77, died at her home here Tuesday night. She was born in New York and came to McGregor from Chicago after her husband's death, 15 years ago, to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Logan Blizzard. The latter is her only decendant. Funeral services will be conducted at the home Thursday afternoon.

~Notes: The 1925 Iowa State census, Marquette, gives her maiden name as King; and her father as Patrick King, born Canada. Her mother's name is blank on this census enumeration. She is shown on several census enumerations as 'Susie' but on the 1920 & 1930 federal census as Susan; birth year ca1860/61. Burial is in Pleasant Grove cemetery.
