McGregor- Julia A. Carroll, 93, died Friday, Jan. 20, 1995, in Memorial Hospital, Prairie du Chien, Wis., from complications of age. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial: St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Thornburg Funeral Home, where a Scripture service begins at 7 tonight, and after 10 a.m. Monday at the church.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary Ellen Cavanaugh and husband Ross of Chicago, Kathleen Milewsky and husband Gene of McGregor and Sheila Tallman of Davenport; two sons, Pat and wife Karen of Cedar Rapids and Charles Michael and wife Joanne of McGregor; 24 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ellen E. Riley of McGregor.

Julia was born March 15 (The Ides of March.) 1901, in McGregor. She taught at LeClaire and Charlotte from 1964 to 1970.
