Postville, Ia., Jan 12 - Without any warning Mrs. William Kruse, 46 years old, passed away Saturday afternoon at her home north of Luana. Her husband had been in Luana and when he returned home he found her unconscious on the floor. Hemorrhage of the brain caused her death.

She was born Dec. 16, 1885, in Read township, Clayton county, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Blitz. On Dec. 7, 1908, she was married in Luana to William Kruse. They had no children.

She is survived by her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Bliaz, Garnavillo, one brother Benjamin Blitz in Marcus, Ia., two sisters, Mrs. L.H. Tuecke of Guttenberg, and Miss Elizabeth Blitz at home. There is also one stepson Roy Kruse. Funeral ceremonies were held Tuesday afternoon at St. Paul's Lutheran church, the Rev. R.B. Garten officiating, and interment was made at the Postville cemetery.
