Elkader- Hubert J. Thein, 72, of rural Elkader, died Saturday night in Central Community Hospital. Services: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Leonard-Witt Funeral Home. Burial: at a later date. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine; two daughters, Sheila Vaughn of Phoenix and Brenda Meier of Garnavillo; and a brother, Lawrence of Edgewood.
