Oelwein Daily Register, Mon., 3 April 1950.
Strawberry Point- Frank Almond Wilder, 78, died at his home here at 5:30 p.m. on Friday after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne Carlson in charge. Iterment will be made in the Strawberry Point Cemetery.
He married Mary Jackson on 1 Aug. 1929 at the Little Brown Church at Nashua and they lived on a farm. Six months ago they moved here.
He was graduated from Dixon Business College, Dixon, Ill., and from Upper Iowa University. He was awarded his 50 year Masons' certificate and served as junior warden here in 1930.
He is survived by his wife, Mary, and several cousins. His parents preceded him in death.
