Mrs. Ella Quinn died at the Sacred Heart Hospital early Sunday morning, Oct. 26, after an illness of two months. She is the wife of Joseph Quinn of Palo Alto, Calif., and the sister of Mrs. James Rogers of Le Mars.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Elkader. The Requiem Mass will be sung by a nephew, Rev. Duane Raftis. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body was taken to Elkader Monday by the Wiltgen-Luedtke Funeral Home.
Ella S. Liddy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Liddy, was born near Rock Valley, Dec. 8, 1895. July 8, 1935, she was married to Joseph Quinn in Long Beach, Calif., and since her marriage the couple have lived in Palo Alto, Calif.
After she was taken ill Mrs. Quinn came to stay with her sister in Le Mars.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph of Palo Alto, Calif.; one brother, Gerald Liddy of Des Moines; and three sisters, Mrs. Patrick Raftis of Oelwein, Mrs. James Rogers of Le Mars, and Mrs. Ray Welch of Elkader, Iowa.
