Marquette- Miles N. Cardin, 78, died Sunday in his home. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, McGregor. Burial: Pleasant Grove Cemetery, McGregor. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Thornburg Funeral Home, McGregor, where a prayer service will be at 7:30 tonight, and from 9 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Harriet; a son, Robert of Kerryville, Texas; a daughter, Judi Wendling of Wheaton, Ill; two brothers, Clayton of Onalaska, Wis., and Victor of Marquette; and a sister, Myrna Burkhart of Calif.
