Elkader- Mary A. O'Brien, 87, died Monday morning in the Elkader Care Center. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Leonard-Witt Funeral Home where there will be a guild rosary at 3 p.m. and Scripture service at 7:30 p.m.

Survivors are a son, Edwin of St. Olaf; a brother, Elon DeWitte, and two sisters, Julie Chapman and Lucy Eden, all of Arlington.
