Garnavillo-- Clara R. Berns, 96, died Thursday in Guttenberg Care Center, Guttenberg. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Garnavillo. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Garnavillo, where a wake service begins at 8 p.m.

Survivors include four sons, Peter Sr. of St. Olaf, Roland of Monona, Louis of Luana and Aloys of Garnavillo; and five daughters, Claudine McLane of Garnavillo, Laura Sudmeier and Mary Lou Krapfl, both of New Vienna, Clara Ann Neuhaus of Monona and Helene Sudmeier of Dubuque.

Also surviving are 63 grandchildren, 113 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
