Strawberry Point-- Funeral services are pending for a resident of Strawberry Point. Mrs. Joe (M. Belle) Gratke, 60, who died unexpectedly this morning (Thursday) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ronald Lambert, in Hopkinton.

Mrs. Gratke, who had been associated in the electrical appliance and repair business with her husband here more than 30 years, became ill Wednesday night while visiting her daughter, remained overnight and died this morning. She was also a former school teacher in Strawberry Point.

She was born Aug. 17, 1895 in Hopkinton, the daughter of Gilbert and Lulu DeShaw.

Survivors include her husband, daughter and a grandchild.

Gill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
