Waterloo Daily Courier, Tues., 18 Sept. 1945.

Strawberry Point-- Mrs. Jennie Behrens, 67, former resident, at Dubuque; before her marriage she was Jennie Thyne; for the last 29 years she had been housekeeper for Father Casey, the last 15 years of the time in Dubuque; leaves two sons, Walter Behrens, Oakland, Cal., and George, El Cajon, Cal, and the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Anna Mullen, Mrs. D. G. Courtney and Josephine Thyne, Strawberry Point; Mrs. Albert Putz, Mrs. John Wiley and Walter Thyne, Edgewood; Emmett Thyne, Volga City, and Robert Thyne, Elkader; a daughter, Josephine, died at the age of five.
