Oelwein Daily Register, Mon., 8 Aug. 1949. (Condensed from an article about three auto accidents in which three Clayton County residents were killed.).

Albert Mosher, 50, Strawberry Point, a retired implement dealer, was killed this morning when the car he was driving collided with a Borden's Ice Cream truck. In his car were his wife and two daughters, who were rushed to Mercy hospital.

Mosher died a little while after the accident, apparently from a skull fracture.

Mrs. Mosher, 47, is suffering from a fractured hip and possible head injury, while the oldest daughter, Rita, 18, is suffering from a fractured skull. The younger daughter, Marilyn, 8, has back injuries and a fracture. Mercy Hospital authorities today said all three were doing well.
