Elkader-- Word has been received here of the death of Dr. Joseph Leonard, 59, in Chicago Monday. He was born and raised in Elkader, graduating from high school in 1916.

Funeral services were held Thursday morning in St. Phillip church in Chicago.

Survivors incude his wife and two sons; a brother, John, Strawberry Point, and a sister, Sister Mary Leonarda, Humbolt.
