Clermont-- Arthur Connor, 43, an Interstate Power Company employee here the last nine years, died suddenly Sunday.
Surviving are a brother Harman, of Cresco and two sisters, Mrs. Harry Telicher (sic) of Elkader and Mrs. Russell Bruce of Texas. Services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's church at Elkader.

Arthur Joseph Connor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Connor, was born Sept. 11, 1910 at Volga.
He died Sunday, May 23, 1954, of a heart attack at his home in Clermont. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 26, 1954, at St. Joseph's Catholic church, by the Rev. Daniel Gorman. Burial was at St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery.
He lived at Clermont since 1945, where he was employed with the Interstate Power company.
He graduated from Sacred Heart school at Oelwein, also lived in Elkader and Clermont.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Connor.
He leaves one brother, Henry Connor, of Cresco, two sisters, Mrs. Harry Kelleher of Elkader and Mrs. Russel Bruce of Temple, Texas.
Pallbearers were: Greg Muchan, Gerald Gutcher, Emil Lassig, Marvin Larson, Norbert Gerner and Jim Kelleher.
