Volga, Ia, Jan 1 - Four ministers officiated at the funeral services for Mrs. Elias Pardee, held in the Presbyterian church here Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. They were the Rev. L. Smith, Arlington, the Rev. Edward Fiske, the local pastor, the Rev. L. Harris, Waterloo, and the Rev. Morgan, Albia, Ia. Mrs. Pardee died at her home in Albia, Dec. 26.
Mrs. Pardee is survived by four children, Mrs. Jessie E. Chapman, Fayette, Ia.; Ernest M. Pardee, Lincoln, Neb.; Fred E. Pardee, Volga, Ia., and Jeanette of Albia, Ia., with whom Mrs. Pardee has made her home ever since the death of her husband in 1907. Eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, one sister, Mrs. Mary Hill, Arlington, Ia., and one brother, C.O. Roe, Clermont, Fla., also survive her.
Pallbearers were J.J. Chapman, W.C. Leete, E.S. Clark, L.J. Tenney, Albert Duff and J.J. Conboy.
