Guttenberg, Ia. - Funeral services for Theodore H. Reinitz, 52, were held from the home to St. John's American Lutheran Church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, with the Rev. William Domres, pastor, officiating. Burial was in City Cemetery.

Mr. Reinitz died at his home here Saturday afternoon following a lingering illness.

Theodore H. Reinitz, the son of Charles and Caroline Janke Reinitz, was born June 8, 1892, in Jefferson Township. He was married to Mathilda M. Fischer on Jan. 31, 1917, at St. John's Church, Guttenberg, and made his home in this community. He was employed by Clayton County Maintenance until his illness about a year ago.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Sgt. Russell Reinitz, who is with the armed forces in Italy, and Burnell, at home; seven brothers, Charles of Storden, Minn., Gus of Guttenberg, Herman of St. Olaf, Louis of Cedar Falls, Henry and Rudy, both of Guttenberg, and Ed of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Pallbearers were Lyle Fischer, Randall Seeman, Bernell Anderson, Arthur Harnack, Carl Bunderick, and Raymond Aulwes.
